Problem statement
Some people traveled across the ocean to get to California. Every ship leaves at the same time every month at same time a ship leaves San Francisco for New York. How many ships would you pass?
Process/ Solution
I started by drawing/failing at drawing North America and South America. Then I drew two lines going from Ny to Sf. I then drew some dots indicating the ships that are sailing. After that my Mom and I thought what if the ship was the first one to set sail. We found out that you would meet someone on the third and on four, five and six so you would meet four ships.
Evaluation
1. Did you consider the problem educationally worthwhile? What did you learn from it?
It didn't find it educational because it didn't take that long to find an answer weather it right or wrong. I didn't learn anything but some counting.
2.How would you change the problem to make it better?
I don't think I would change it except make it more challenging .
3. Did you enjoy working on it?
Sorta because it was kinda easy.
4. Was it to hard or easy?
It was pretty easy.

Problem Statement
A guy went to a play with the seats in a triangle. He was going to go with his friend but he was to slow to get the tickets so the two seats next to him were taken so he couldn't sit next to him but the seat in front of him was empty. Figure out the number seat was in front of the seat 333.
Process/Solution
I first started out by actually making every seat till 333. After that I counted every square until I reached 333 then I looked at the one in front of it. For my answer I got 298.

I found this problem fun to work on and it wasn't difficult but it seemed to easy. The problem would have been harder if you made it a bigger number.
